Well, that was a tease but we got just a little bit of Stephen dancing and a great performance by Lil Buck and Jason Yang!

A jamming, grey pin strip suit framing a checkerboard dress shirt with a classic wide collar all to set off a magnificent blue tie with a stripe just jooking across it!

“Friends of Hamas” Rumor

Apparently as an example of hyperbole, a journalist asked if Hagel had links to “Friends of Humas” or “The Junior League of Hezbollah.” Well, other journalists ran with the hyperball and passed this information on as if it was true because if you hear it on the internet, it has to be true! So, apparently we really do have to worry about the other internet legitimated threats like WMD in Iraq.

I particularly enjoyed Stephen’s speculation of other groups like“The Muslim Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.” Perhaps Hagel wiill throw his support to the “Boiled Bread Society” or perhaps “For Hume the Bell Tolls” Club or something totally crazy like, “Phenomenology of Spirit,” sheesh.

Come on, Nation, start identifying your favorite Senate nominees: George Jetson, Chair of the Aeronautical and Space Sciences, Daddy Warbucks, Chair of the Banking and Currency, Dudley Do-Right, Chair of the Canadian Relations. You get the picture.

Is anyone else considering using a shiv to gouge out the image of Stephen being hairless as new born mole rat.

Corporate Twitter Hacks

So apparently McDonalds hacked the Burger King Twitter account. Because hacking twitter accounts is so rad these days. Hey, ColbertNationYoungsters! Sumner Redstone wannabees! Awesome sauce! * Whack *

So, jumping on the bandwagon, Viacom thought faking an “anonymous-like take over hack” on one subsidiary Twitter account with another subsidiary would confuse consumers into thinking these are actually two distinct entities. Too funny! It is almost like they want consumers to think there really is a competitive market out there. Next you’ll think coffee shops across the street from each other are not actually boosting each others’ sales! Talk about Catfishing!!!
