As Katt was really excited about Eurovision, I dedicate this episode to her 🙂

  • Mrc

    Mp3 of “The Living Life“.
What’s funny (or scary) about this bit is that it pretty much nailed what Eurovision songs tend to be.

  • Rita

Anybody knows who the woman and child Colbert embraced at the very end of the show is? They seemed so very happy to see each other 🙂

    • tamara

i wish i knew - that was ADORABLE.

    • Gina

I have to make a habit to watch all the way to the end. I missed that part!

      • tamara

yes, it stinks because of all the ads toward the end, but i try to hang in there just in case - like Birthday Ribs! 🙂

        • Gina

Ok, I saw it now. No idea who it was, but whoever it was, it sure was a surprise!

Segments like the Eurovision one, with an almost pointless set up that really explained nothing, is really starting to turn me off the show. There are so many things they could have touched on, but chose not to. It’s almost like they did it just to comment on a current event because that’s what everyone is talking about, or this case was two days ago.

    • Katt

Urgh don’t even start me on that segment. They didn’t even fact check it. Performances can only feature six people on stage maximum, they had seven.

And yes, there is a lot they could have done on Eurovision, but evidently poke fun at it in the laziest way possible was good enough for them.

Anyone know who is filling in on 2nd sax when Grace Kelly is out of town?

    • Gina

We don’t know. It’s a good question. Grace accepted a position for a variety show with NBC, so I don’t think we will be seeing her around anytime soon.
