    I really enjoyed the first few acts, the political segments, the cold open, Stephen giving us the backstory on the Met Gala. The Colberts looked great! I even liked Kanye’s steely gray eyes and bedazzled coat 😉 I didn’t watch the interviews.

    I can’t help it - I find a drunk Colbert adorable. The small stumbling of words (“You know you’re in Newu.. New York right now, right?”, “So an ah… astronaut criticized your movies?”), the big grin and the gentle voice. The “That sounds like the opening of a very questionable country music song” had me laughing out loud. The interview with Sebastian Stan was my favorite, mainly because it is so great to see someone talk about something they truly love (and in this case something I too love). Oh, and Evie looked stunning! What a beautiful couple!
