    I felt so bad for Stephen, he seems so sick :'( Or Stephen would put the :’) crying with laughter emoji. Thank God John Oliver was on hand, he helped Stephen along with the comedy and they have terrific chemistry. When Stephen started sniffling (alliteration!) on Friday, I said, “uh oh, the kissing,” and that’s it. I know we all love Stephen, but we have to keep him well! CBS and the Colbert Nation depend upon it!

    Also, loved the Late Show ad they snuck in there! I think they were trying to spoof those cheesy Viagra commercials, but Stephen is so much better than that! He really needs to invest in a leather jacket, he looks so good in them. He can imitate the biker guy character so well, too bad he doesn’t know how to ride!

  • I loved the John Oliver interview! It was hilarious when he came out with Purell. I’m so glad they discussed John’s “Last Week Tonight” segment on #MakeDonaldDrumpfAgain. That piece was absolutely brilliant, as was the encryption piece John did this past Sunday. John is a genius satirist and so is Stephen. I completely agree with Gina - they have terrific chemistry. It was just so wonderful to see two of my favorite funny guys in suits and ties together!

    The “Late Show Ad” was amazing! It felt like a throwback to TCR’s “Cheating Death.” Stephen looked like a handsome devil in the motorcycle jacket and sunglasses.

      Maybe he just made himself sick, so people would stop kissing him. Presumably, he would like to sleep in his own bed again at some point.

    I really enjoyed the John Oliver interview as well. He’s doing impressive things over at HBO, and it’s always great to see him and Colbert together. For me, it’s like watching Jon Stewart’s former lieutenants riffing and talking tactics in the wake of the captain’s retirement/journey-to-the-Undying-Lands.

    He sounded so sick. It’s funny, everyone was talking about Evie getting mad about the kisses, but in reality, that’s probably what made her more upset, “He’s gonna get sick, then he’ll get me sick, then he’ll get the kids sick, then he’s going to be miserable all weekend….” 😀

    haha, i literally thought he was wearing a green jacket because of St Patrick’s Day-week. he was cute though and yes the “balls” discussion was hilarious!

    I just wanted to mention how much I loved Stephen’s rant on Daylight Saving Time and losing that hour of sleep over his cold-filled weekend. That was just classic! Hope he’s better soon though, it does seem to be lingering a bit.

    They showed the Colbiker ad to the audience at the taping of the third episode back in September… they’ve been sitting on it for awhile (like many other things)
