That was a wild episode! I usually have to watch the show very quietly because it’s early in the morning, so I can tell how funny one is by how often I have to stifle myself. From the Donald Trump call to the soap opera acting with Eva Longoria to the bagel place bit with the Broad City gals - it was off the rails!

I loved Stephen’s suit/tie combo last night, very striking. Of course I love the purple ties anyways, there’s been a drought for a while. It’s sweet that he thinks of the audience’s comfort, throwing out towels at the top. It seems like you have to wait for this show than the old one, but being out in the middle of the street like that makes it feel that much longer. I know last time I got some pretty serious frostbite, to the point I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the show. Going to Angelo’s saved me :) What is nice about like Jimmy Fallon, other shows etc, you go indoors to 30 Rock to get tickets and line up so you are spared the outdoor elements.

It was good to have a musical act at the end just to calm everyone down! Even Donald Trump said Stephen is killing it (in his phone call) so let’s be proud of him and the rest of the #LSSC crew! Ok, I’ve done my Stephen-praising for the day. See you tomorrow. :)

Agree, It was a really fun show with just the right level of kookiness!

This was such an excellent episode! I was so surprised that The Donald actually called into the show. For a moment I thought, “That can’t really be him.” Dead wrong. Stephen didn’t let him get away with his truth stretching.

I never realized how funny Eva Longoria is. She was great throughout the entire interview. The soap opera using the exact lines from the debates cracked me up!

I adore Abbi and Ilana and I am so glad they did a bit together with Stephen! It was hilarious! Two UCB gals and a Second City guy…gotta love that!

Kanye is from the same damn place I am from. Why couldn’t he make me proud? I so wanted him too. *cries*

I feel ya, Gina. Bill Cosby is from Philly, so there you go! 😀

  • K.V. Lady

I agree with Gina and Kirsten: it was such a fun, silly episode! So uplifting. I thiught the funniest parts were the wig on the Trump phone, Stephen dancing and not realizing the camera was on him…and then dancing even harder, of course(!) the soap opera-fication of the debate, and the bagel animation.

I could not stop laughing all the way through this, from the Trump phone to Eva’s interview (I had no idea she was so funny actually as I’ve never watched her in anything before), I lost it completely with the happy bagels, this was all just so much fun. 😀

The little segment with Eva Longoria was hilarious, but made me slightly uncomfortable at how close they were to a faux-makeout session. Maybe jealously is a better word. Ha!

The segment with Abbi and Ilana was seriously everything… definitely my favorite part. It allowed us to connect with not only Stephen’s default silliness, but the level of creativity behind the Broad City girls’ minds and show. Since she wasn’t familiar with the girls, I showed my mom the ‘wisdom tooth’ episode (Broad City season 2) before LSSC aired that night, and had her rolling with laughter. She’s now a fan, and I can’t wait to binge watch season 3 as soon as it hits iTunes.

Craigy Ferg and Broad City have been the highlights of the week for me, that’s for sure!
