I thought Saoirse Ronan was charming! It was a very good interview, much better than I thought it was going to be…..not that I thought she would suck…..I just didn’t think it would be so cute and unpredictable. I think the show buried their lead with having the “Making A Murderer” people on third. I know a few talk radio people yesterday were pretty excited, the first time they’ve mentioned Stephen’s show in a while. The documentary is hot right now, and a lot of people *cough* are insatiable for any information they can get on it. It should have been promoted a bit more, and they definitely should have AT LEAST been before that dinky Yelp guy. Man was he arrogant! I know why they had him on…but last would have been much better.

James Bay was really good! I’ve heard that song on the radio and thought it was pleasant enough, but not a song that would grab my interest in any way. It was MUCH better live, I really enjoyed it!

I have to agree. The “Making a Murder” filmmakers are a good get, it makes absolutely no sense to have them on third. The interviews per show is just too much.

I agree, they should have re-scheduled the Yelp guy to some other night. (Personally I’m not thrilled with review sites like Yelp, since I don’t think they vet the reviewers at all - though Yelp tries by hiding responses they think are too positive or too negative, so they hid a very good review I wrote for a photo lab once apparently for being too positive!)

Even with fitting in the comic segments, it’s not ideal for them to have four guests. Better to aim for two, and then add a third if a schedule conflict comes up. I do think Stephen is getting a lot of comic mileage out of the Power Ball mania, pretending to encourage viewers to buy tickets with the money they have, and the money they don’t have (which is unfortunately what some people do). The follow up on the Militia Men was also amusing.
