Ariel Dumas, a performer from The Second City’s touring company, has joined the writing staff of Comedy Central’s “The Colbert Report,” a representative for Second City said on Friday.

In addition to her work with Second City, Dumas has performed on occasion with The Deltones at iO Theater.
