Free endive, motherf***ers. Time to make it rain!
The Hub is still experiencing some issues, but is much better than it was. You are now able to post comments again, but may not be able to read those posted by others. As always you can join us over on our Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr accounts where we will continue to post the latest Colbert news.
Make it endive rain, people! Was that not the randomest thing Stephen has ever done? Oh wait…it’s Stephen we’re talking about
And I do pronounce it incorrectly (end-dive) because I am from Chicago and we think an endive is some kind of coffee table.
It was kind of hard to figure out what to love more about the ep, a truly momentous word, and the plagiarized iPad reading.
(Also caught J-Stew’s take on CNN’s ridiculous dumbed down “is this a good thing…or a bad thing” coverage. Worth checking out, Hubsters.)
Billy Collins’ poetry was not my fave, but Stephen seem to enjoy reading the excerpt. It seemed to cutesy to me, I like some angst with my poetry. But maybe that’s just me.
It’s good to have our beloved Hub back up again, even if we are still slowly ramping back up.

I really loved The Word, it was spot-on. Before last week’s Word, it had seemed they hadn’t had one in a long time. They were missed!

I think his daughter is (about) 17 now so that might be why he particularly liked that poem.

I will probably still incorrectly pronounce it ‘end-dive’ but now when I say it, I will immediately say it correctly right after I say it wrong. Who says you can’t learn anything from watching TV? Oh yeah, that Philip Mudd guy from a month ago. Well poo on him.
