Edward Snowden’s NSA Leaks

Well that’s smart, you gotta get your resume out there, because I think you are about to get a pick slip from the sky.

Folks, Snowden’s got the program all wrong. According to director of National Intelligence *clap clap - lights out* Sorry, sorry James Clapper.

Just like the AcuVibe soft touch massager is for neck cramps, and cannot be used to intentionally target anywhere else.

I do find it suspicious that on the same day this guy [Edward Snowden] flees to Hong Kong, this guy [Jon Stewart] flees to Jordan to direct a serious movie. Yeah, that’s believable. And who’s his replacement, a foreigner. NSA you’re going to want to keep an eye on this guy, cause he is suspicious and very talented.

The Imploding Muslim Country of the Week - Turkey

That took way longer than it was supposed to! - Turkey!

That is the worst mall related violence since every Black Friday sale.

But in 2003 that all changed with the election of autocratic anagram Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Imploding Muslim Country of the Week - Turkey - Omer Taspinar

SC: They [Turkey] have a democracy there?
OT: It is, probably.

Interview - Dan Savage

SC: You’re not as married as I am, because I’m married to a lady. There’s a name for it. It’s called ‘marriage’. Perhaps you’ve heard of it.
DS: My marriage is just as marriage as your marriage is.
SC: No, no ’cause you’re married to a guy. And, no - don’t you dare clap.

SC: Gay marriage is like two magnets. You’ve got two positive ends and it does this king of thing …
DS: You turn one of those magnets around and it fits right in.
SC: *laughs* If you’re gonna make everything about sex Dan …

That’s it for tonight’s guide Hubsters. Don’t forget to share your thoughts on tonight’s episode in the comments!!

  1. That interview was too too fun! :) Dan Savage is one of the few people quick enough to sling it just as hard and fast as Stephen does and it really brings out his character in full strength. I loved the hug at the end!

Character breaks! Actually I don’t know if that would qualify as separate breaks or just one long break because it all kind of ran together. Whatever the case, it was hilarious.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +8

    • @Erika: You are so right about that interview! Dan Savage really knows how to disabuse “Stephen Colbert” of his ignorance. Just how Stephen Colbert likes it! I loved that hug at the end, too. It warmed my heart.

It was so great when Stephen cracked up in The Imploding Muslim Country of the Week Booth. “That took way longer than it was supposed to!” Haha!

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +5

  2. Is it just me, or is Stephens hair looking more gel tonight? And they seriously need to do new promo shots of the Jon’s and Stephen. Come on CC, we’ve been seeing the same ones for years!!

I’m so glad they chose to address the situation in Turkey. Media reports, certainly the ones here have skimmed over the hard facts of the violence. It’s sad to know that this is how many people will learn about the facts of the situation.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +1

  3. As he was walking over to the imploding muslim country booth, I was thinking, “oh good, it’s not a sponsored one” and then there it was. This one wasn’t as obnoxious as some of the other ones though. I love that he had trouble grabbing a card in the booth.
Love Dan Savage everytime he’s on because he can hold his own with Stephen and also, dayum, he works out. Was he that pumped the last time he was on?

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +1

And that's the Word!
