Ms. Sigourney Weaver is appearing on Broadway in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which should be Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike and Stephen. Easter under attack! The Bunny is an Alien! Updated! Hi, Stephen!

Intro - 4/1/13

Easter Preacher Gray suit with a smart, barrel cuffed, white and subtle grid patterned, dress shirt with a stylish soup catcher stripped in red, white and blue.

Easter Under Attack - Pope Edition

After a little lash flattering on Mr. Colbert’s part, he thanked the ColbertNation for our adoration and hoped that we had had a good Easter knowing that his Friend Jesus had been forsaken.

Apparently Google had posted an image of Cesar Chavez rather than a more traditional Easter image of chocolate bunnies, chocolate eggs and chocolate ham. Fox and Friends didn’t bother to research the matter.

See, nothing to do with the Christian message.

Stephen introduced St. Melito, patron saint, a bishop, hermit and an eunuch as a possible alternative. Now how would Google portray him and do they have the balls to do it?

Yaa, the Easter under attack! How could Pope Sleeping Kittens wash the feet of women, let alone Convict Muslim women just because none of the disciples were convict Muslim women. What, did Pope Emeritus Benedict didn’t leave infallible instructions?

Health Care Lottery

Well, Tennessee is into Power Bull!

Their Health Care solution baffles even Stephen.

Utah’s Earth Day Celebration

Utah has got bait and switch down as they try and mix petroleum and the proverbial vinegar. They have proposed a kids’ art competition to celebrate “Where would we be without oil, gas and mining?” Oh, I don’t know, perhaps not needing a day to celebrate the threatened Earth!

The art competition has very strict guidelines including size limits for the page and the moratorium against glitter spills. Good thing they like guidelines.

Sigourney Weaver

Fangirl Sigourney was in the house!

Make sure to watch what Stephen said to get Sigourney to do this.

And figure out what Stephen was getting ready to say which resulted in these expressions …

And, well, this has got to be undeniable evidence of both joy and Sigourney’s fangirl-hood.

  1. Had to love the Easter Under Attack! Graphic come back. The image of Christ firing a pistol within the tomb never gets old. And Stephen’s rage only made me feel ever the better about our new Pope. I like Il Papa’s emphasis on poverty and humility.

I kept feeling like the Health care segment was going to turn into a Word, but lo and behold, surprisingly it didn’t. It had a lot of word-ly characteristics, though.

Thought that Sigourney Weaver was quite the it-getter/fangirl. I like those kinds of guests. And she looks amazing! Liked the quiet, slower pace of the interview.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +3

  2. Sigourney Weaver looks great and it appears that she has not had any work done. *jealous* Oh well I think she is definitely a fan. When she said Johnny Carson would’ve liked the show, I thought she had forgotten about Stephen being in character and all, but then she said he was a pundit so she is an it-getter.
That healthcare lottery is ridiculous. I’m glad once more to be living in MA.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +4

  3. Oh, the chemistry between Sigourney and Stephen was so great! She looks a bit like his beautiful wife, doesn’t she? Might explain why he did everything but roll his tongue out on the table and blow kisses at her!

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +4

And that's the Word!
