Just because Lloyd once said 'Goldman Sachs is doing "God's Work"'. And it is. He just didn't say which God. Maybe it was Shiva 'Lord of Destruction'.

Long slow and painful. Thank you Jesus. Ah, this is great. This is great. The Democrats had the same situation when they won last time in 2008. Now Republicans get that Hillary vs. Obama magic ... minus any women or black people ... or magic ...

I reject all pre-written words. That's why I'm against reading books. I mean books are a lie. When I read the words make thought sounds in my head, like I'm thinking them.

That’s it for now folks. Will have the rest up tonight.

  1. I thought he looked so cute and sweet on the one with Katharin Boo at the end of the show when he said Goodnight posing sitting at his C Shaped desk too bad he has to have a ridiculase side to him

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +2

  2. I will apologize in advance for what is likely to be an incredibly disjointed comment.

It has been far too long since the last Monkey on the Lamb. After the recent elections in Alabama, they’d probably prefer apes overrunning the state. I know I would.

Kermit!! I would have never thought a little green frog could give us a more rational and well thought out analysis of the current state of the GOP election than 90% of the newscasters out there. I guess I never knew what a specist I was.

*Shudders at the thought of Santorum and Gingrich forming a “Rainbow Connection”*

McKinnon… seriously, an ascot. An ascot. Say what you want but that’s a ballsy move.

Loved Stephen’s “Watch where I point this thing.”

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +3

    • Oh, dear Kris: no worry about Newtie and slimy Santorum forming a RAINBOW connection-don’t you know that’s gay? ;-) But forming an ultra-conservative, tea-soaked coalition? Ummm, yes. And the only good thing I can think about this is… they couldn’t POSSIBLY win the election. Could they?

And, oh, how I love me a green Kermie! That was a big surprise, but totally adorable.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +4

      • If they win, I hope the Aztecs were right and it’s the apocalypse soon because I don’t think I could take four years of that.

We are totally calling them Newtie and Slimy Santorum from now on (although slimy Santorum may be a bit redundant, I like it nonetheless).

You know what would be great? Kermit and Ms. Piggy, as well as, Jon and Stephen. It would be great to watch Jon and Kermit putting up with Ms. Piggy and Stephen throwing fits about whatever. Just saying.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +2

    • I’ll be honest, I didn’t hear a damn thing McKinnon said because I couldn’t take my eyes off that ascot.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +3

      • I had the same problem. I was like, is that a choker? Ah, Republicans. They always have fascinating ensembles.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +3

  3. Also, as a general note from Ms. Better Know a Guest: I don’t better know tomorrow’s guest for Jon. It is still not up on his site or any site.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +3

      • Did you see? There was no guest! It was all John Oliver, being brilliant. And our old Floridian congressman from “Better Know”-the one whom Stephen tricked into saying all kinds of things because he was running unopposed. Oh, I think he was gotten again, by Mr. Oliver.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +4

      • That was a fantastic segment. It’s so easy to pass and uphold these bullsh*t laws when you’re sitting in your cozy Washington office, a world away from the people that will most feel the effects. I know Wexler’s probably not a bad guy (aside from his penchant for cocaine and prostitutes), but I kinda wanted to punch him in the face. Right in the face.

        LOVE John Oliver.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +3

      • “I know Wexler’s probably not a bad guy (aside from his penchant for cocaine and prostitutes)”

Remember, colbaby. He’s a former congressman. From Florida! So his penchant for hookers and blow are his good points!

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +2

  4. Someone give everyone in the hair and makeup department a raise and whatever they want from the dessert and/or snack table! Bunch of geniuses this week. :)

I was so excited to see another Monkey On The Lam! The opening alone makes me laugh. Also, I’m glad that the Mark McKinnon interview was what I had hoped it would be. And it makes total sense that “Stephen” doesn’t know the person on his monitor is him. It is scary how zoned in they are with that character.

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +5

  5. Stephen’s scene with Kermit was yet another testament to his acting prowess! He totally had me going that he was engrossed in conversation with our favorite frog.

    Great segment…

  6. @lockhart43 Since you’re the only person I “know” in Michigan, when I heard about a tornado landing there I worried. But now that I’ve finally been able to get online, and seeing that you are feeding the entire hair and makeup dept. I know now you’re fine. Yay you! :)

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +3

    • Aw thanks friend, the thoughts are much appreciated and very kind. I think there were actually two or three that touched down; the damage in Dexter (by Ann Arbor) made the USA Today’s website. I’m grateful that all we got was a serious downpour, thunderstorms, and hail. Beware the Ides of March, indeed. Again, thanks. :)

And you’re darn right I’m feeding the entire hair and makeup department, and even the wardrobe department - another great job tonight! 4 for 4!

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +3

      • You’re welcome! Glad to hear it didn’t affect you.

And long may you live, prosper, and stare at your state’s perfectly sized trees!

Tip of the Hat! Thumb up +3

And that's the Word!
