Should Stephen Colbert Be Put on the Shelf?

Stephen Colbert I Am A Pole Exhibition at The Rosenbach Museum & Library

The Rosenbach Museum and Library which ‘seeks to inspire curiosity, inquiry, and creativity by engaging its broad audience(s) in exhibitions, programs, and research based on its remarkable and expanding collections’, is currently asking the Rosenbach Community to donate gifts to help support upcoming exhibitions and programs. Each donor who donates more than $10 may pick their favourite item in the Rosenbach Collection, and a representation of that item will be placed on a “shelf” in the Museums lobby.

Currently, the shelf is home to items from James Joyce, Maurice Sendak, and more. But so far, there are no items representing Stephen Colbert or ‘I Am A Pole (And So Can You!)’.
