Katt currently aspires to be the next James Bond, and join a Spanish boy band. When not dreaming of the impossible she likes to talk about herself in third person, perform circus arts, and dabble in Webmastery. She is also rather fond of history, archaeology, photography, sport, tv/film and comedy, especially that of the late night variety.
Karenatasha: Better Know a Guest | Interviews | Episode Guides

Karenatasha was supposed to be born in Brazil, but somewhere a mistake was made, so her first glimpse of earth took place in Brooklyn rather than Bahia. She has still not gotten over the disappointment and keeps searching for her paradise lost—especially in winter. She doesn’t like winter. You can’t do a samba down the street in a small bikini when it’s cold. Because she’s a writer and academic who’s passionate about language (especially the Word), physical comedy, and lefty politics, Karenatasha can’t help but love The Colbert Report. Although it took her awhile to discover the wonderfulness that is Stephen Colbert, once converted she became more “Stephligious” than those who didn’t find him the hard way.

It was a cold and stormy night on that fateful day, the day I was born. The sun was shining until 9pm, which is odd in February. My birth, in that small little mining town known as Boston was declared a miracle. I didn’t cry or anything…Oh, right. I’ll get on with it. I’ve pretty much lived in the Boston area for my whole life except for that one crazy year out in la la land. (Los Angeles)
I work in the special education field and have been doing that type of work for the past nine years. It’s very rewarding and very infuriating at the same time. I have always been fascinated with the way the mind works and working with autistic and PDD students helps satisfy my curiosity. I am trying to enroll in a good Master’s program so I can be all authoritative and know-it-all-ish.
I’ve been a fan of Stephen’s for a long time but only since the Iraq shows in June 2009, have I been a hardcore fangirl. I am thankful that I live somewhat close to where the show is so I can go to multiple tapings and the occasional fangirl get together.
Kris In the Press | Episode Guides
Contact: Kris@colbertnewshub.com
Kris the Kringle, as she is known in many circles and by many I mean none, is a long time fan of Stephen Colbert and a since conception fan of The Report. “I can recall the very clip that made a fan of me. It was called, “Chain Smoke”. I related to Stephen, as an underage smoker who stole cigarettes upon being carded. Plus, in it I learned that eating meat
and vegetables caused cancer, not smoking. It validated my decision to skip school in favor of watching The Daily Show. To this day I avoid eating vegetables whenever possible but still enjoy meat from time to time. I guess we all have our bad habits.” It should be noted that after the years of brain-cell-killing drug and alcohol abuse she’s engaged in,
remembering such a thing is an accomplishment in and of itself. As is expected of a bleeding heart liberal, she spends her free time occupying streets (do back roads count?) and being soft on crime.
