Before we kick of tonight’s guide, the folks over at ‘The Daily Show’ had a little something to say about Stephen in last night’s segment ‘Tyler Perry’s House of Representatives’.

Tyler Perry's House of Representatives

Jon Stewart: Now, I’m probably not the most educated person on Comedy Central.
John Oliver: No, because that would be Colbert. You know that’s right.
Jon Stewart: I’m probably second.
Wyatt Cenac: No, that’s the South Park guys.
Jon Stewart: I’m probably the third. I think I’m the third.
Jessica Williams: No, there’s two of them!
Jon Stewart: I’m the fourth.
Jason Jones: Don’t forget by boy Tosh.
Jon Stewart: I’m the fifth.
Wyatt Cenac: Tosh is a hell o’lot smarter than yall.
Jon Stewart: Mother****er!! I’m starting to think this is not a good idea after all.

Now back to tonight’s show …

In Car Siri

GM and Apple are teaming up to bring Siri to cars. Or as Siri understood it: M&M and Snapples are teaming up to bring cherries to Mars.

Stephen Colbert dancing gif

Jimmy play my jam. ‘You’re a rich girl, and you’ve gone too far. Cause you know it don’t matter anyway. You can rely on the old man’s money’.

Stepehn Colbert time machine

Let’s face it. I am not doing this show for my health. Just look at any picture of me from seven years ago. Now I can afford to build a time machine and go back and warn that guy not to do this show. We’re dying.

Stephen Colbert Olsen twin

Now my wife and kids don’t recognise me, because I paid cosmetic surgeons to make me look like an Olsen twin.

Stepehn Colbert wedding cake

Did you know that many of those brides and grooms on top of wedding cakes aren’t even legally married? You’re frosting in sin!!

Stephen Colbert war on women

Women are angry and defensive. You need proof? Go up to any single women and say, ‘the reason you’re not married, is because you’re angry and defensive’.

Stephen Colbert on women in the work place

Men hate women who compete with them. That’s why it’s so rare for men to be attracted to women in the work place.

Frank Oz on The Colbert Report

What is it like being famous for a character who isn’t you? Who gets to say and do things you don’t get to do? I’m asking for a friend. Is that fun?

Stephen Colbert Muppet

  • Prim

    Not speeding was I, Officer

  • CN Helper

I liked the Powerball segment very much, great writing there. Frank Oz was a good guest, but kinda meh at the same time.

So how many people watched Jon last night, and the “call and response” chorus?

Jon: “I’m probably not the most educated person on Comedy Central . . . ”
    Chorus: “No that’s Colbert.”

Ha! (Got even funnier as Jon kept counting down and he kept going lower on the list…)

LOVED, loved “The Word.” Thanks for the feminist segment, Mr. Colbert! Nicely done.

  • llama

Stephen, you are as gorgeous today as you were seven years ago. Katt, thanks for that gif of Stephen shakin’ his booty. :-)
Did anyone else think that Stephen as an Olson twin looks a lot like Tim Curry?
Also, loved the shout-out from the Daily Show. I wonder who it was that came up with that line?

  • karenatasha

Yes, that gif is a gift! Thanks so much, Katt!

llama, that is an interesting question about who came up with the line….

One thing’s for sure: Tosh is NOT smarter than Jon. Or any of them. Yuck. (My moment of editorializing.)

  • Gratefull

I thought Frank Oz was wonderful! He played along while still being himself and he laughed and laughed at Stephen’s question showing he got it but didn’t over play it.

Mr. Oz is amazing. I wonder what the world would be like if Jim Henson had lived. The two of them played so well together.

I just now got to watch this episode and just had to come here and say how awesome The Word was. Pure gold. Not that they ever aren’t but this one was especially shiny.

Also, Frank Oz = Legend. That man’s responsible for so much joy in my childhood. That last question from Stephen couldn’t have been more perfect.
